INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Three straight games with at least 24 turnovers just isn’t going to cut it.
The Clippers lost all three of those games, with the most recent one coming at the hands of the LA-rival Lakers at Intuit Dome. The Clippers have now lost three games in a row as they navigate a lengthy injury list.
The Lakers posted 24 fast-break points, despite not having star Luka Doncic, who’s out with back tightness. Their depth stepped up, including Collin Sexton dropping 21 points off the bench.
Rookie Keaton Wagler had a career-high 21 points for the Clippers, but it was nowhere near enough. The Lakers went on a 16-0 run in the second quarter to pad their lead, and every comeback effort the Clippers had was shut down.
The Clippers hit the road for two games against Minnesota and Golden State before returning home.
Reporter Kasey Kazliner digested the action at Intuit Dome and analyzed it on Unclipped, TOT’s Clippers podcast. Listen below!
