La CASA announced it will be hosting the 42nd Annual Latinx Graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 12 from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Cromwell Field. The bilingual celebration will be open to all graduates completing their degree in the spring, summer or fall 2022 term.
The event is dedicated to celebrating the hard work of graduates, their friends and their families. Students can invite as many guests as they would like, disabled seating will be available. Guests should arrive between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to find the best seating. The event will last about 2 hours.
Before the event:
To participate, graduating students need to complete their registration by Monday, February 28 at 11:59 p.m.
Step 1: Fill out the google form application with your personal information and a small blurb that will be included in a free commemorative book that all participants will receive. Your progress on the form can’t be saved and finished later, so it must be filled out in one sitting.
Graduating students also have the option of submitting their treasured group photos to be included in the commemorative book. La CASA will be putting together photo collages using students’ favorite photos from their time at USC.

To speak on behalf of their class at the event, students need to submit an application and complete an interview with the Latinx Graduation Committee. If you are interested in becoming a class speaker, you can sign up here.
The day of:
Graduates must show up wearing their black cap, gown and sashes to check-in starting at 6 p.m. at Jacques Plaza across from the student bookstore, and students must be checked in by 7 p.m.
Students will be given a notecard with their name and major which will be collected when they walk towards the stage. All students will be given 20 seconds to publicly thank their loved ones who supported them throughout their academic journey at USC.
As students exit the stage, there will be a photography section where they can take pictures with their friends and family before they return to their seats.
