During the COVID-19 pandemic, schools across Los Angeles adapted to online learning and got creative in finding new ways to engage with students in the virtual classroom. This was no different for the Critical Media Project (CMP) at USC, which transformed its curriculum and mentorship into the Critical Makers Lab — a virtual program to teach teens about the power of representation and identity.
Between campus, county and California restrictions, graduation photos have turned from another "to-do" into another kind of experience.
Dr. Sarah Banet-Weiser will become the first professor to work between the USC and UPenn in this capacity. Her efforts, she said, will be spent thinking about the ways she “can connect and or facilitate connections between faculty and students” at both institutions.
Students can participate in outdoor basketball, soccer and cornhole leagues if they complete Trojan Check and sign up through Intramural Sports.

USC Professors react to cancelled 2021 Spring Break
