Today, the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood warning that will remain in effect through Thursday afternoon. Officials are urging residents, particularly in San Diego and Orange counties, to prepare for significant flooding. Moderate coastal flooding is possible along beaches on the Malibu Coast and in Los Angeles County due to very high tides, which are expected to reach up to 8 feet.
