Countdown to Hollywood’s biggest night

Jimmy Kimmel will return to host this year’s Oscars for a third time. Tune in this Sunday on ABC to watch the 95th Academy Award Ceremony 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PST.

Roads near the Dolby Theater, where the Academy Awards will take place, are closed in preparation for Hollywood’s Biggest Night. Since its opening in November 2001, it has been the venue of the annual Oscars ceremony.

Four USC School of Dramatic Arts alumni are contenders for a golden statuette: Ke Huy Quan for Best Supporting Actor in “Everything Everywhere All at Once”; David Ellison for Best Picture for “Top Gun: Maverick”; Ludwig Göransson for Best Original Song with “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”; and Rian Johnson for Best Adapted Screenplay for “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”
