The HBCU Legacy Bowl’s co-founder Doug Williams talks about the significance of this week-long event that includes a career fair, panel discussions and meetings with NFL scouts and coaches. A graduate of Grambling State University, Williams was the first Black quarterback to play in and win the Super Bowl. He has used his platform to create opportunities for the next generation of HBCU football players and he’s excited to see how the players will shine on the field in today’s game.
