Students face ‘lottery’ system when seeking counseling services at Engemann

It’s been months since USC’s Engemann Student Health Center opened their fifth floor clinic dedicated to addressing mental health issues among students. But the path to getting services isn’t necessarily smooth.

The Engemann Student Health Center is working to find the best system for accepting students. According to Dr. Steven Siegel, chair of the department of psychiatry and behavioral Sciences at USC, that system is a lottery.
