Iowans were the first in the nation to give a verdict in the 2020 Democratic Primaries. Things didn’t go as planned. Results were delayed because of a malfunction in the Iowa Democratic Party’s new procedures, and former-Vice President Joe Biden fell to fourth place in what was expected to be a close race between him and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
