Recently, NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, gained widespread attention in popular culture and the media. They have entered the worlds of entertainment, sports, business and now, even journalism. In 2020, the NFT market brought in $250 million in sales, according to a report by Forbes.

L.A. City Council votes to increase hourly wages for grocery workers during the pandemic.

On Wednesday the L.A. City Council voted 14-1 to approve a 120-day salary boost for grocery workers in Los Angeles. The mandate now just needs to be signed by Mayor Garcetti before it can go into effect.
