What if artificial intelligence (AI) models had nutrition labels that showed their potential benefits and drawbacks to our well-being?

Researchers from USC Marshall’s Neely Center for Ethical Leadership and Decision Making partnered with researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley to do just that. The project, called ImpactBench, is an open benchmark that measures AI’s impact on human well-being.

We sat down with Ravi Iyer, the managing director of the Neely Center and a researcher on the team, to discuss some of the project’s takeaways.
