On Saturday, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed 13 bills to increase protections for mail-in voters. These bills make any interference of mail-in ballots illegal. Newsom says, the bills respond to Trump’s “attack” on mail-in voting. He hopes they will ease the minds of Californians after 600,000 ballots were seized by a Riverside County sheriff in suspicion of voter fraud.
