Los Angeles is facing a potentially record-breaking heatwave at the end of the week, with temperatures expected to go high into the 90s. Extreme weather seems to be a regular occurrence now: summer floods in Texas, snow pounding the East Coast, and now, intense heat. Are we prepared or even aware of these concerning events?
