Black History Month at USC focuses on history and the next generation

As USC marks Black History Month, Dr. Francille Wilson says the observance is a reminder of resilience and the need to protect Black history. She points to founder Carter G. Woodson and urges students to learn their family stories and see themselves as the next generation shaping Black history.
