More than 1,800 nurses at Keck Medicine of USC are on day five of a weeklong strike over staffing shortages and changes to their health plans. The nurses, represented by the California Nurses Association say, they want more support on the job and more choices for their care. Hospital officials say, facilities remain open and fully staffed as negotiations continue.
