On Tuesday, the partial government shutdown ended after the Republican-led House passed a funding package. Five agencies received funding through the end of September: the Pentagon, as well as the State, Education, Treasury and Labor departments. However, the Department of Homeland Security was only funded through the end of the week, with Congress at a stalemate over immigration enforcement.
