INGLEWOOD, Calif. — The Clippers are 15-3 in their last 18 games and appear to be clicking on many levels.
LA routed the Brooklyn Nets, 127-89, allowing fewer than 90 points for the second time this season. Kawhi Leonard recorded his 24th-straight 20-point game, dropping 24, continuing his case to suit up as an All-Star in February at Intuit Dome.
Jordan Miller captained the bench with 16 points on 70% shooting from the field. Head coach Tyronn Lue allotted minutes to eight reserves, double the total from the Lakers matchup three days before.
James Harden led the starting lineup with a plus-22 rating. He filled in adequately for the non-Leonard minutes, scoring 19 points with eight assists.
Kris Dunn left the game early with a lower-body injury. Lue emphasized postgame that Dunn wasn’t severely hurt, and he could’ve stayed in the game if needed be.
The Clippers begin their road trip by taking on the Jazz on Jan. 27. Talk of Troy reporter Kasey Kazliner digested the action at Intuit Dome and analyzed the Clippers’ win on Unclipped, TOT’s Clippers podcast.
