Historic shutdown comes to an end

The longest government shutdown had a lasting effect on the American people.

President Trump signed a bill Tuesday night that would fund the government after a 43 day-long shutdown that affected millions of Americans. The shutdown primarily impacted federal workers and funding for federal agencies.
