Supreme Court rejects challenge to same-sex marriage ruling

The Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from former county clerk, Kim Davis, who refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples in 2015. The decision leaves in place more than $350,000 in damages and upholds the precedent set by Obergefell v. Hodges.
