The state of emergency on homelessness gets lifted

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has announced she will lift the city’s state of emergency on homelessness. The state of emergency has been in effect since late 2022. Researchers and local advocates said they hope the city’s homelessness relief programs will continue to be prioritized.
