USC announced the ticketing policy for the upcoming 2025 commencement ceremony on Tuesday afternoon. According to an email from USC Academic Events, each graduating student will be allowed 10 guest tickets free of charge.

Each student will be automatically allocated 10 tickets for commencement, available to download through the USC Ticket Office mobile account using a USC email account. Once the tickets are downloaded and claimed, graduates have to share them with their named guests.

Graduating students will receive tickets in their USC ticket accounts by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 23.

Children under two years will not require a ticket for commencement ceremonies.

Students who want more than 10 guest tickets can request additional tickets through the “Additional Ticket Request” form beginning on Monday, April 28.

According to the email, commencement events taking place at the Galen Center, Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and USC Village Great Lawn will have their own tickets.

Last year, the main commencement ceremony was canceled due to “new safety measures,” according to an email sent by USC Academic Events on April 25. Individual school ceremonies were still held, but graduates were only able to bring six guests.

The mainstage graduation ceremony will take place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, with alumnus and filmmaker Jon M. Chu as the commencement speaker. The full commencement schedule is available on the USC commencement website.
