LOS ANGELES — Five different Kings skaters had four points this week, beginning with the loss in Minnesota and finishing with the 7-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Sunday evening.

The Kings’ lines have appeared to click on all cylinders ever since the team acquired first-line wing Andrei Kuzmenko at the trade deadline. LA earned 7-2 wins over the Carolina Hurricanes and Boston, extending the win streak to three games with every skater doing their part.

Even without a consistent power-play unit, the Kings remain contending for a deep run, dominating defensively in front of starting netminder Darcy Kuemper, who is posting Vezina-level figures.

Jesse Cohen, the podcast voice of the LA Kings, along with Kasey Kazliner, host of TOT’s Skate of Thrones, sat down on All The Kings Men to break down the 3-1-0 week and crown an honorable mention, runner-up and King of the Week.

The two discussed trends throughout the week, including specific observations from each forward line and the implications of the successful stretch.
