Elections for next school year’s USG president, vice president, and senators are officially underway and voting is open until midnight on Friday.

Students can vote for their next president and vice president, who make up the executive branch of USG. Along with their chief of staff and cabinet, the branch oversees the various departments of USG. There are four candidates in the current race and voters will be asked to rank their choices.

For the senate, 13 candidates are vying for 12 seats. The senators make up the legislative branch, who advocate for campus organizations and represent the interests of the undergraduate student body.

Despite the significance of USG, many USC undergraduates don’t bother voting.

If you want your voice heard in this election, head over to USG’s official website to click on the elections link and make your vote count!

The clock is ticking. You have until midnight on Friday to cast your vote.
