Grab your broomsticks because “Wicked” is set to release this Friday. The film is directed by USC alum Jon M. Chu and stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda. Supporting characters include Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard and Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible. Prior to the film’s release, its marketing has reached diverse markets including entertainment, food, beauty, culture and more. Here’s a list of activities to prepare for the film for those that just can’t get enough of the Emerald City.

Start your morning with some caffeine at Starbucks to defy gravity

Begin your day at Starbucks and grab a vibrant handcrafted beverage inspired by Elphaba and Glinda. Elphaba’s cold brew is a cold brew coffee with peppermint syrup, non-dairy matcha cold foam and pink and green sprinkles — the perfect drink to give you enough energy for the day.

Not feeling coffee? Try Glinda’s Potion, which is a pink drink with non-dairy strawberry cold foam and pink and green sprinkles. While grabbing a drink, you can check out Starbucks’ Wicked collection. From tumblers to gift cards, these are the perfect holiday gifts.

Find all your Wicked essentials at Target

After grabbing a drink, get some shopping done at Target. Recently, Erivo did a Q&A with the film’s costume designer, Paul Tazewell, at a Target store in New Jersey. Tazewell designed the fashion and home collection for Target’s Wicked-themed merchandise. This line includes pullover sweaters, blankets and outerwear.

While at Target, be sure to check out the other merchandise including the Monopoly “Wicked” Edition Board Game, or the Target Exclusive “Wicked: The Soundtrack” on CD or vinyl to learn all the songs before you watch the movie.

Become as gorgeous as Glinda or elegant as Elphaba at Ulta

If you’re into beauty products, stop by Ulta where you can pick up Wicked-inspired makeup and other beauty items. Grande released a “Wicked” collection for her beauty company, R.E.M. Beauty. This line includes an Ozdust eyeshadow pallet, a Galinda makeup set, an Elphaba makeup set and lip oils. Other Wicked-themed products are the You’ve Been Glinda-fied Plasma Dryer by Conair and the OPI x Wicked Nail Lacquer 12-piece mini pack.

Experience Wicked at Universal Studios and Universal CityWalk

In both the parks and their shopping area, Universal Pictures is promoting their film by providing guests with an exclusive “Wicked” experience. The Feature Presentation store will display props and costumes from the film. There will also be photo ops in the parks and costumes from the film in the AMC theater on Universal CityWalk.

At the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen, enjoy a sweet treat that will have you “Dancing Through Life.” Toothsome’s Ozitively Pink & Green Shake is a strawberry and key lime shake with pink and green whipped cream, Oreo crumbs and a white chocolate disk that reads, “Wicked.” To show off that you’ve made it to the Emerald City, Shiz University and Munchkinland, grab yourself a Discovery Series mug sold exclusively in Starbucks at Universal Studios Parks.

Grab all your “Wicked” essentials online

Still missing something from your collection? Shop “Wicked” collaborations online that range from LEGO sets, an H&M x “Wicked” clothing line, “Wicked” inspired Crocs, GAP hoodies, Beis x “Wicked” travel collection and more.

Prepare for the film

If you can’t seem to get enough of “Wicked” content, swing by Barnes and Noble at the Grove to buy yourself a copy of “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West” by Gregory Maguire. The 1995 novel inspired the 2003 stage musical, which is now adapted into this year’s film. If you want to immerse yourself further into the history of Oz, check out the 1900 novel “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum and the 1939 film adaptation “The Wizard of Oz.”

Watch the Broadway musical at the Pantages Theater

Starting December 4 through February 2, “Wicked” will be showing at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood with Lauren Samuels as Ephaba and Austen Danielle Bohmer as Glinda. The original Broadway production starred Idina Menzel as Elphaba and Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda. The show is split into two acts and features 19 sung performances.

These activities are sure to leave you feeling unlimited. Certainly “One Short Day” isn’t long enough to enjoy this Emerald City.
