A longtime USC favorite, local bar and restaurant Study Hall has closed its doors on the eve of its 10 year anniversary.

As of early July, Study Hall’s signs had been taken down and replaced with green and white-striped banners advertising Roadside Taco, a Mexican restaurant taking its place.

Study Hall first opened for business on September 26, 2014. In the decade since, it’s become students’ go-to for casual drinks and its famed chicken tenders.

Nothing has been posted about the closure on any of the restaurant’s social media accounts. Yelp reflects its closed status.

Today, a “CLOSED” sign hangs on the door of the new Roadside Taco. It is not known when the restaurant is expected to open.
