New campus access point opened on Exposition Boulevard

Four entrances are now operational for pedestrians and vehicles.

An additional access point to campus at Exposition Boulevard and Pardee Way opened Monday to all pedestrians and vehicles with reserved parking on Childs Way. The entrance will be open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Office of the Senior Vice President for Administration announced in a university-wide email sent June 14.

Campus is now accessible through four entrances for vehicles and pedestrians:

  • McCarthy Way and Figueroa Street – open 24/7
  • McClintock Street and Jefferson Boulevard – open 24/7, access point for Downey Way and Royal Street parking structures
  • Watt Way and Exposition Boulevard – open weekdays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Exposition Boulevard and Pardee Way

All security protocols will remain in place: Students, faculty and staff will have their IDs scanned upon entry to campus and their belongings are subject to search. Campus visitors and guests must be registered online.
