Thousands of students and residents marched on Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles Monday afternoon to protest the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Thousands of students and residents marched on Pershing Square in downtown Los Angeles Monday afternoon to protest the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The marches saw both business and roadway closures. Mayor Karen Bass addressed the state of the city live from City Hall, discussing homelessness, environmental impacts, and the ongoing affordable home crisis.

And the SAT returns to several prominent nationwide schools, including Harvard University and Caltech.
