The Bachelor” has long been a staple Monday night tradition to watch a group of women compete for an engagement. Since the original season, the franchise has only expanded in terms of both popularity and spin-offs, which now include the “Golden Bachelor,” “Bachelor in Paradise” and “The Bachelorette.”

Arguably being the most popular reality TV dating show, the Bachelor, over the years, has accumulated a steady set of devoted fans who tune in weekly to watch the drama unfold as contestants battle each other in their quest to find love. This season viewership has averaged around 3.5 million excluding the thousands of viewers who watch it on Hulu the day after.

The ongoing season of “The Bachelor” (season 28), starring previous Bachelorette contestant Joey Graziadei, has been particularly popular and riveting, garnering viewers who have never seen the show before. Perhaps, this can be attributed to the show’s popularity on TikTok or Joey being a fan-favorite during his time on “The Bachelorette.” Either way, as this season that has everyone on their toes comes to a culmination on Monday, here is everything you need to know about the remaining women ahead of the finale.

Daisy Kent

Daisy is from Becker, Minnesota and one of the two finalists this season. She entered the Bachelor Mansion with a christmas tree to commemorate her upbringing on a christmas tree farm. Throughout the show, she has been open about her battle with Lyme Disease and hearing loss. She often speaks about her experiences with her cochlear implant and has written a children’s book about hearing loss. Her time on the Bachelor has been relatively unproblematic, not having any altercations with the women. She received the first one-on-one date (a date with just her and Joey) of the season and has been a fan favorite ever since. Now, many fans are thinking that she will go on to win the finale.

Kelsey Anderson

Kelsey Anderson is a junior project manager living in New Orleans, Louisiana and is the other finalist of this season. She received her first one-on-one date in Spain and has consistently been a favorite for both Joey and fans. She has not been involved in drama either and has received increasing screen time through her time on the show. Fans seem to be torn between her and Daisy for who they think will be the winner of this season.

Maria Georgas

America fell in love with Maria Georgas the moment she stepped foot into the Bachelor Mansion. Maria’s iconic outfits and witty comebacks instantly made her a fan favorite. She is an executive assistant from Ontario, Canada and was sent home during “Hometowns”—the episode where the Bachelor meets the contestants’ family. But Maria still made her mark, and now Bachelor Nation is hoping that she will be the next Bachelorette.

While she experienced animosity from some women on the show, she eventually came out of top after being asked to stay after a two-on-one date (a few episodes before she was sent home) with Joey and her arch nemesis during the show, Sydney Gordon. During the “Women Tell All” episode last week (an episode before the finale where the women discuss their time on the show in front of a live audience), Maria and Sydney seemingly made up with the episode ending with hugs being exchanged.

What to expect

The season finale of “The Bachelor” will premiere on Monday, March 25th at 8pm PST on ABC. For those without cable, the show can also be viewed on Hulu the next day. The episode will be approximately three hours long until 11:00 p.m. There will also be an “After the Final Rose” segment during which the next Bachelorette could be revealed.
