Bryan Fernandez has won position of USG president alongside new vice president Brianna Sanchez.

Fernandez and Sanchez had a close race with runners-up, Sam Stack and Christian Shaw. Ultimately, Fernandez and Sanchez pulled ahead in the final rankings of over 4,000 ballets.

Fernandez and Sanchez express that they plan to focus their attention to C.A.R.E for their students, an acronym that stands for community, accessibility, representation, and equity.

Both elects have past experience in USG, and have stated that they will use this to create the best environment for students in order to set them up for success at USC.

Over 2.5 million dollars per year are allotted to USG’s budget, and the new president and vice-president elects already have plans for 2024.

Amongst Fernandez and Sanchez’s goals, they hope to strengthen the relationship between USG and USC’s student organizations, in addition to promoting underrepresented students in leadership roles.

In addition to our new president and vice-present elects, eleven new senate spots were filled, and all election results will be certified on March 6th.
