San Francisco 49ers’ fullback Kyle Juszczyk did not go home with a Super Bowl ring this Sunday, but his wedding ring may be the real win of the season. Kristin Juszczyk, expressed her support for her husband’s Sunday night showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs through a one-of-a-kind bomber jacket.

On Sunday morning, Kristin took to Instagram to not only show off her game day outfit, but to also create a heartwarming tribute to her husband’s career. As Kristin spun around and pointed out the individual jerseys making up her bespoke jacket, footage of Kyle Juszczyk’s career played out in her reel.

Not only did she incorporate Kyle Juszczyk’s current 49ers’ jersey, but she also cut together and collaged his jerseys from high school, Harvard, and the Baltimore Ravens, who he played for from 2013 to 2016. The result was an eye-catching statement piece featuring virtually every color of the rainbow. One of Kristin’s millions of followers commented, “It’s giving Kyle Juszczyk eras tour.”

Kyle Juszczyk was also seen sporting a custom letterman jacket by Kristin Juszczyk Designs before taking the field for Super Bowl LVIII. For her husband, Kristin sewed together fragments of all of his teammates’ jerseys, which they each individually signed with black Sharpie. The result was a priceless piece of 49ers memorabilia that successfully combined athleisure and style through upcycling.

The Juszczyks weren’t the only ones rocking Kristin’s designs for the Super Bowl, though, as Gwen Stefani and Kelly Clarkson also donned custom team-neutral puffer vests for the big game. Ahead of the Super Bowl, Kristin listed an almost identical black puffer vest adorned with the official logo and colors of Super Bowl LVIII for auction on her website from Thursday through Saturday. This unique vest, which sold for $75,000, marked the first officially licensed piece created by Kristin as a result of her licensing agreement with the NFL.

Kristin’s designs originally caught the attention of the public, and ultimately the NFL, after Taylor Swift was spotted at a Chiefs game in January wearing a custom jacket made out of her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s jersey.

Kristin recently recognized Taylor Swift’s contribution to her sudden success in an interview with the Today Show, but also shouted out her mother, who she believes is truly responsible for her success. To honor her mother, who passed away from breast cancer when Kristin was 18, she said in the interview that the proceeds from her puffer vest auction will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Not only is Kristin Juszczyk using her platform to help support women, but she is also championing creativity and sustainability through each piece of reworked clothing she designs, helping to bridge the divide between sports and fashion.
