Cupid is making his way through the L.A. traffic and coming to USC. Valentine’s Day is particularly popular among lovers of love and general holiday participants as it provides a much needed respite from the holiday drought of the spring semester.
USC has a number of events scheduled for students to welcome in the holiday. Late Night ‘SC is hosting a Valentine themed craft night February 9. All students are welcome to attend the event and can RSVP here.
USC Annenberg welcomes students to come to their “How sweet is it to be an Annenberg Student” mixer February 14. The event, co-sponsored by Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and The Happy Hour, will take place in the ASC buildings west lobby from 2 to 3:30pm and will involve treats and raffle prizes.
The highlight of the event will be an open discussion led by Dr. Kelly Greco from student health, as well as members of Annenberg Student support staff about the impact of happiness on our well being. Attendees will also have the chance to mingle with fellow students and create Valentine’s Day-inspired crafts to exchange with friends and loved ones.
Additionally there will be a Pop Up Flower Shop on Valentines Day, where stations are set up for students to make their own bouquets and candy bags for themselves, friends or others.
Whether it’s making late night crafts or creating beautiful flower arrangements USC has prepared plenty of events to help foster the spirit of love for students this Valentine’s Day.
