Police detained a suspect in front of Wallis Annenberg Hall on Thursday evening. The man was handcuffed as three surrounding Department of Public Safety vehicles were stationed around the scene. DPS didn’t disclose what was allegedly shoplifted. A USC sweatshirt, multiple knives, and miscellaneous personal belongings were placed on the hood of the DPS vehicle.

DPS issued the following statement to Annenberg Media: “We detained a shoplifting suspect from the Bookstore. They are going to be issued a no trespassing letter and will be escorted off the property.”
