The California Department of Transportation announced on X that there will be closures of the interstate between the I-10 interchange and Exposition Boulevard from 11 p.m. Saturday through 8 a.m. Sunday.

Expect heavy traffic for those attending the USC vs. UCLA 5 p.m. tip-off at the Galen Center.

“These closures will allow crews to safely demolish the defunct pedestrian bridge over I-110 at 21st Street,” according to CalTrans on X.

For fans, students and alumni driving to the game here’s your gameday guide for what you need to know:

If heading southbound:

The southbound off-ramp to Adams Boulevard will be closed all weekend. To bypass the closure, take the side streets north of the I-10 interchange. Get off on Pico Boulevard and take Flower Street to the game.

If leaving the game southbound, you can either take Flower Street to I-110 on the ramp south of Exposition Boulevard or take Hill Street to the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on-ramp.

If heading northbound:

Northbound traffic can get off I-110 at either Adams or Exposition Boulevards and take Figueroa Street to the Galen Center.

People leaving the game northbound can either re-enter the freeway at Washington Boulevard or access I-10 via Hoover Street.
