USC women’s lacrosse released its 16-game regular season schedule Monday. The team will take on seven opponents at home and nine on the road, complicated by the construction of the new Rawlinson Stadium for women’s lacrosse and soccer, set to open in 2025. As such, Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, and the L.A. Memorial Coliseum will serve as the site of USC’s home games this season.

Dignity Health Sports Park, the home of the LA Galaxy, will host the first five home games, while the last two will be held at the Coliseum, the long-time home of USC football. The Trojans will play Hofstra in their first home game at Dignity Health on February 17.

Last summer, USC President Carol Folt announced the $38 million renovation of Soni McAlister Field, the former home of USC women’s soccer and lacrosse teams. The Fritz B. Burns Foundation gifted $10 million towards this world-class renovation that will become Rawlinson Stadium, the new home of USC women’s soccer and lacrosse. The new venue is expected to host more than double the spectators its predecessor could. The stadium is set to host the women’s lacrosse squad upon its completion in 2025.

In the Pac-12′s final lacrosse season, USC will face seven conference opponents. The Trojans will face UC Davis, California and Colorado at home and will visit Arizona State, Oregon,  Stanford and San Diego State.

That leaves USC with several non-conference foes on its schedule, including Villanova and Johns Hopkins, the latter of which ended the 2023 season ranked No. 14 in the NCAA RPI. The Trojans will also host Michigan at Dignity Health, a preview of future Big Ten matchups.

“We are looking forward to our out of conference opponents – all incredibly strong teams that will allow us to compete against the best as well as prepare us for Pac-12 play,” head coach Lindsey Munday said in a statement.

The Trojans are coming off of a successful 2023 season; they finished 16-4 with a Pac-12 Championship title, beating Colorado 12-6 in the final to earn their second conference title in program history. USC went on to lose 10-7 to the University of Denver in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

This season, the Trojans will look to become the final Pac-12 lacrosse champions in history before their move to the Big Ten next season.

USC will also host the Pac-12 tournament at the Coliseum from May 1-4.

“To send off the Pac-12 lacrosse conference in an iconic venue like the Coliseum is something we very much look forward to,” Munday said.

USC kicks off their season against Army on Friday, February 9, at 2 p.m. PST in West Point, New York.
