E-Conquest: The Battle of the Gamers

We’re only two days away from USC’s showdown with our crosstown rivals UCLA, but the battle has already begun for E-Sports specialists from both universities.

Electronic sports have risen to popularity over the past few years, and spectators gather in arenas across the country to witness video games being played on the big stage. Professional organizations can compete for prize pools in the six-digit range, and USC has it’s own team that could be a pipeline to the big leagues.
