Restaurant-owner Bugra Arkin is using his cuisine to bring Uyghur culture to Los Angeles. Through his restaurant, Dolan’s Uyghur Cuisine, he hopes to bring awareness to the voices and experiences of Uyghur people. And for Summara Nawaz, her LA Chai Cart is a way to share and celebrate her culture and traditions with people outside of her community.
