Tickets to Harry Styles’ concerts are in high demand. Fans all over the world are eager to get their hands on tickets for one of his sold-out shows in their city. With Styles’ 15-night residency in Los Angeles, the ticket buying process is like finding a needle in a haystack. Styles announced the second leg of the “Love on Tour” residency in May 2022 and shortly after, fans started signing up for the verified fan presale, general presale, and general sale on the popular ticketing site Ticketmaster. Many fans were unsuccessful when it came to purchasing tickets because of Styles’ popularity, which led them to go through other platforms and try alternative methods to purchase their tickets.
Here are three routes to go about the ticket-buying process to snag coveted tickets for Styles’ future L.A. shows — or any other big shows in L.A.
Ticketmaster
Ticketmaster is the primary place to find and purchase tickets for Styles’ concerts. Signing up to receive pre-sale codes is the best option, as you can receive an early access code to the tickets before they are released to the general public. Ticketmaster also has exclusive releases for American Express cardholders for select shows, making the process of purchasing tickets easier.
Secondary and Third Party Resellers
Sometimes, fans may not find luck with Ticketmaster. Luckily, there are secondary and third-party resellers who are looking to get their tickets off their hands. Secondary resellers sell their tickets to fans on social platforms like Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. With secondary reselling, fans have to do their own due diligence to ensure they are buying real tickets from real people. The issue with selling fan-to-fan on social media platforms is that there is a possibility that the “fan” selling the ticket is actually a scammer.
To combat the fear of scammers, some fans created fan ticket assistance accounts on Twitter and Instagram. These accounts are run by fans themselves and they help other fans buy and/or sell verified tickets. With this process, there is an extra step added where potential sellers must provide the account owners with their ticket information, including proof of purchase, so they can verify that these tickets are indeed real. After the account owner verifies the information of the seller and their ticket, they will then post the ticket for sale on their accounts with prices and contact information so interested fans can purchase them. Many of these accounts have their own rules and regulations to ward off scammers. For fans who choose this route to buy their tickets, these accounts help them do so in a safe way.
Third-party resellers sell tickets to others through websites like Vivid Seats, SeatGeek and Stubhub. Many fans have turned to these third-party websites to find their tickets, but oftentimes, these sites will charge higher prices and include high fees. With the added fees, the total ticket price ends up being well beyond the face value of the original ticket. Some fans who use these third-party resellers have experienced some issues with delivery methods. Tickets are often not transferred to buyers until the last minute or even not at all, forcing fans to contact customer support very close to showtime.
Last-Minute Ticket Releases
Opting to scout out last-minute ticket releases is a great idea if you run out of other options once the show date rolls around or if you simply want to be spontaneous. Ticketmaster will oftentimes release tickets that are still up for grabs close to the show date. To score tickets this way, continuously refresh the Ticketmaster page and app to see available tickets.
Another way to grab last-minute tickets is to go straight to the box office at the venue. On the day of shows, venues are eager to get rid of any remaining tickets to not have empty seats in the house.
Nabbing tickets can be difficult, but these methods can make it a little easier to get your own invite to Harry’s House.
