The smells of gasoline fumes, wet dirt and the salty ocean air converged on October 15, 2022 as Red Bull Straight Rhythm and the Moto Beach Classic organized eight hours of Southern California motorcycle racing.
The Moto Beach Classic ran from noon to 2 p.m. and the Straight Rhythm single elimination tournament ran into the early evening.
This was the third year the Moto Beach Classic was held at Huntington Beach and the sixth year since its debut race in 2017. This dual event marks the seventh year Red Bull has organized Straight Rhythm. The last time Straight Rhythm was held was in 2019, and this year was the first time the race has taken place in Huntington Beach.
32 racers went head-to-head in the Straight Rhythm race which featured a 1,815 foot dirt track and five different sections of dirt jumps.
