“Conquest!” is an annual event held to celebrate USC’s and UCLA’s crosstown rivalry. “Conquest!” was held in person for the first time since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. USC students celebrated the rivalry with a concert, tailgates and the USC-UCLA rivalry football game.

The Ferris wheel was placed next to Leavey Library, the Center for International and Public Affairs and the Social Sciences Building, giving students a view of McCarthy Quad.
