Many people around the country will soon be worrying about cooking the perfect turkey... but let’s be real the main attraction really boils down to the sides.

Every year many people debate around the dinner table on which Thanksgiving dish is the best

Pumpkin pie to the majority of Americans is the best Thanksgiving dish.

The desert originated from early American settlers of the Plimoth Plantation in the 1600′s. Here in California the most popular Thanksgiving dish is mashed potatoes.

Students at USC told me which Thanksgiving dish they are looking forward to eating the most.

My favorite dish is turkey and my least favorite dish is corn cheese.

Many dishes that millions of Americans are looking forward to eating this year historically have not been a part of the well-celebrated holiday.

My family makes mac and cheese so I’m looking forward to that and also a sweet potato casserole cause my mom puts marshmallows on top

I do love stuffing and I really don’t like sweet potatoes like that casserole thing with marshmallows. I only eat the marshmallows off of that, I firmly believe potatoes should not be sweet.

The debate over which Thanksgiving dish is the best may never be settled but many Americans can definitely agree on looking forward to eating a variety of filling foods this holiday.
