At USG’s Tuesday night meeting, members of the undergraduate student body addressed student concerns regarding hybrid class options, restoring gym hours to those that existed prior to COVID and library priority seating. There will be a campus-wide audit of building accessibility on Nov. 5 according to the Vice President of USG, Lucy Warren. Warren intends to push for making Election Day an official school holiday.

The Committee on Accessibility Affairs continues to push for continued access to hybrid classes post COVID. They plan to survey students on interest in expanding the number of classes that are offered virtually. The committee wants to make training available for teachers to access and expand hybrid class options.

USG continues efforts to expand the availability of fentanyl test strips for students in light of recent drug-related fatalities in the Los Angeles area. They are collaborating with fraternities, sororities and other student-lead organizations to provide testing kits to students both on the row and on campus.

USG meetings occur every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in TCC 350.
