Grand jury decision in Breonna Taylor case leaves nation uneasy

Months after Taylor’s shooting, a Louisville officer was charged, but not for Taylor’s death.

A Kentucky grand jury brought no charges against the Louisville Police for the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Breonna Taylor in a failed drug raid back in March. Instead, an officer faces three counts of wanton endangerment— putting someone or something in danger or exposure to harm. Prosecutors say the two officers who fired their weapons at Taylor were justified in using force to protect themselves after they were shot at. Savanna Welch wanted to know how people across the Nation feel about today’s developments.
