Each year, more than one-million immigrants from around the world come to the United States in pursuit of a better life. Lorena Bourdevaire Casillas from Dímelo Radio tells us about her journey from her hometown in Jalisco, Mexico to the U-S. She made that trip seven years ago and now Bourdevaire Casillas is a first-generation graduate student at USC Annenberg. She is also an editor for Dímelo, Annenberg’s Latinx media outlet.
