Plane ticket prices have plummeted. A flight from here to New York, usually about three hundred dollars one-way, can now be had for a hundred and forty dollars round-trip. The prices are enticing, but the potential consequences might not be worth the discount. USC Chief Health Officer Sharon Van Orman says that if students get stranded, USC doesn’t have a way of helping them get back to campus, and that if they don’t make it back to class, they may face consequences.
