LAX-it, LAX’s new pickup program for Uber, Lyft and taxis went into motion in the early hours of Tuesday. The scheme comes in lieu of the curbside pickup ban which the airport had launched. LAX officials say it has reduced traffic congestion by a substantial amount on day one itself. But passengers and drivers are dissatisfied with the process.
