How male gynecologists are faring in the age of #MeToo

The number of male gynecologists is shrinking, but that's not necessarily what all female patients want.

In the age of #MeToo, the number of male gynecologists are shrinking, as are the number of male medical students choosing to go into this field.

But according to an American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists survey, nearly 40 percent of women don't have a gender preference for their OB-GYN. So while some men may hesitate to join a field that seems to lean female,  not all patients believe that only women can provide the best reproductive health care.
