Swastika T-Shirts Cause Controversy on Campus

Students argue about swastika T-shirts sold on campus and about the right to freedom of speech

A vendor on USC's campus was selling swastika T-shirts, which sparked outrage among students. One student, Ilana Spiegel, said she felt the wares were inappropriate and offensive and should be put away. One student argued back and said that the vendor's right to freedom of speech allowed him to sell the items. Spiegel called DPS officers, who asked the vendor to close down his stand and stop selling the items. USG President Austin Dunn says he's working to improve the vetting process for vendors.
