Walking on Cars at the Bootleg

The band from Ireland is making its mark in the US

Walking on Cars performed at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles on Tuesday, saving their hit song “Speeding Cars” to end the night. Performances of other popular songs were from their 2016 album “Everything This Way.”

"We're from Ireland," said Sorcha Durham, the band's pianist. This was evident with their charming accents and the intimate venue's crowd, which consisted of loyal followers alongside local guests.

Walking on Cars' music makes you feel somewhat nostalgic, with lyrics that often grab you by the heartstrings and pull. You automatically move along with the crowd's energy and shake off past heartaches or marvel in current romantic angst.

Although their song "Nothing's Impossible" didn't make the album, the song will be featured in an upcoming film (no other details mentioned).

Here are some songs of their best performances:

"Speeding Cars"

"Don't Mind Me"

"Catch Me If You Can"

"Tick Tock"

"Always Be With You"
