Iconic power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt are getting divorced after two years of marriage. The Associated Press reports that Angelina filed for the divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences." She wants sole physical custody of their six children, but she is willing to share legal custody and give her husband visitation rights.
"I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids," Pitt said in a statement to People magazine.

Brangelina began in 2004 after a controversial breakup between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Aniston filed for divorce from Brad citing "irreconcilable differences", but the world was equally stunned to see that he began dating Angelina shortly after.
Brad and Angelina met on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and started dating in 2005.

Their second and final film together was "By the Sea" where they played a troubled American couple on vacation in France. A foreshadowing?
Angelina started a family by adopting baby boy Maddox Chivan in 2002 from a Cambodian orphanage, while she was still with Billy Bob Thornton. In 2005, Brad and Angelina adopted a baby girl, Zahara Marley, from an Ethiopian orphanage and another baby boy, Pax Thien, from an orphanage in Vietnam in 2007.
Brangie also conceived biological kids. Their first biological child, Shiloh Jolie Pitt, was born in 2006, and they had fraternal twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline in 2008. In a 2010 interview with Vanity Fair, Angelina revealed that Shiloh (born a girl) identified as a male—a decision the big screen parents wholeheartedly supported.
Angelina and Brad have done a vast amount of charity work abroad. The couple donated more than $300,000 to a non-profit to help refugees in Chad. Angelina is a UN Goodwill Ambassador.
The superstars finally wed in 2014 after a two-year engagement and almost 10 years of dating.
