The average GPA of accepted students, 3.84, has increased from last year by .11. More than 12 percent are first-generation college students.
The accepted students pool includes scholars from all 50 states and 75 countries. USC Director of Admissions Kirk Brennan tweeted, "These are headed overseas. #igotintousc" accompanied with a picture of big yellow envelopes that aspiring Trojans will hope to see in their mailbox.
Newly welcomed Trojans are taking their acceptance letters to social media. Tears of joy are appearing on Instagram, and Twitter users are trending with #igotintousc, #uscadmits, #usc2020 and, of course, #fighton. Expect a lot of red and yellow heart emojis in your newsfeed.
