On March 12, "Saturday Night Live" blessed us with Ariana Grande hosting the show. As expected, Ariana blew us away with her musical performance, but what really caught everybody by surprise were her spot on impressions. Most notably was Ariana's unbelievably accurate Jennifer Lawrence impersonation. The A+ performance inspired us to round up our favorite celebrity impersonations by other celebrities. They are so accurate that it is no surprise these stars became A-listers.
Bono impersonates Bill Clinton
At the Clinton Global Initiative in 2013, Clinton himself was running a little late, so famous U2 front man, Bono, took the reigns and did his best impersonation of the former POTUS. Much to everyone's surprise, the Irish-born rock star absolutely nailed it.
Maya Rudolph impersonates Gwen Stefani
The queen of comedy and former "SNL" cast member, Maya Rudolph, is no stranger to impressions. She has nailed past impressions, such as Beyoncé, but she took it to a whole new level as a guest on "Ellen." Rudolph crushed it with her musical impression of the No Doubt front woman and "The Voice" judge, Gwen Stefani.
Leonardo DiCaprio impersonates Jack Nicholson
It's no doubt that you've seen this impression around, as it quickly gained meme status. Leo perfects Jack Nicholson's signature eyebrow raise in this interview. Skip to 2:18 to see the amazing impression.
Matt Damon impersonates Matthew McConaughey
His southern drawl and signature "Alright, Alright, Alright," make Matthew McConaughey an easy man to impersonate. However, no one has done it better than fellow A-list actor, Matt Damon. His surprisingly accurate depiction is truly Oscar-worthy.
Drake impersonates Lil Wayne (and Urkel?)
Drake somehow pulls off this odd Family Matter's Urkel and Lil Wayne mashup. It's talent like this that reminds us of Drake's acting days, playing the wheelchair-bound Jimmy Brooks on "Degrassi."
Jamie Foxx impersonates Jennifer Hudson
The hilariously entertaining "Wheel of Musical Impressions," featured on Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show," always produces some creative impressions. Past guests Christina Aguilera, Seth MacFarlane and Demi Lovato have all blown us away with their creativity. However, no one has nailed it quite like Jamie Foxx. His impression of his "Dream Girls" co-star Jennifer Hudson singing "On Top of Spaghetti" is something you need to see to believe. Skip to 6:49 to witness this magic.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler impersonate Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton
Arguably the mother of all impressions, the history-making Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton impressions done by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will never get old. The "SNL" veterans and comedy warriors will forever go down in the books as having pulled off the most accurate and hilarious impressions of all time.
Ariana Grande impersonates… well, just watch
Ariana Grande seems to be a pool of endless talent when it comes to impersonations. While her J. Law impression was magnificent, her other "SNL" impressions were just as great. The segment, entitled "Tidal," shows off her talent of mimicking just about every singer's vocals in a five-minute video of perfection.
